Christmas and New year is at the door but one announcement may abandon your Christmas/new year plans and i.e. done by WhatsApp. This force you to buy yourself a new phone.
Today the most popular chatting service celebrated its 7th anniversary last week and just after that announced a shocking news that it would be ending support to several devices - including ones running Windows Phone 7. WhatsApp was launched in 2009 and became very common to all as it supported several operating systems.Upgrades never saw the next device but here are few devices that will not be able to run the WhatsApp application after as year ends -
Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
Windows Phone 7
iPhone 3GS/iOS 6
Windows Phone 7
iPhone 3GS/iOS 6
The apple store may be new to us but as we see Blackberry and Nokia offered their operating systems when 70 percent of smartphones has sold.Mobile operating systems offered by Google, Apple and Microsoft - which account for 99.5 percent of sales today - were on less than 25 percent of mobile devices sold at the time." WhatsApp said in a blog post. But one good news is that Whatsapp will later be supporting these operating systems( BlackBerry OS ,BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40 and Nokia Symbian S60) until June 30,2017
